Senior Government Relations Manager

Currenlty we are looking for an experienced in Government Relations/ Public Relations candidate that would join our clients company. We are recruiting for a fast growing, global e-commerce company.

What we expect

• degree in International Relations, Political Science, Global Studies, Law, Economics, Communications or related field
• at least 8 years of working experience in government relations or public policy
• you need to be located in Poland
• experience in policy research, development and analysis
• strong policy and regulatory network in Warsaw with a demonstrated ability to effectively and comfortably interact at the highest corporate/political levels to undertake advocacy work
• strong network with local government offices in Wroclawis a plus
• prior experience managing operational issues such as labour regulations and customs clearancewould be a plus
• prior experience in e-commerce/marketplace sectorwould be advantageous
• track record of effectively solving complex issues and delivering strong results while maintaining the highest standards
• keen interest to translate policy/regulatory engagements into tangible commercial outcomes.
• willingness to travel across Poland regularly, particularly between Warsaw and Wroclaw
• strong analytical, presentation (written and oral) and project management skills
• proficiency in English and in Polish
• excellent interpersonal skills
• ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail while operating in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.

Your tasks

• track, monitor and provide assessment of strategic/policy issues and their implications to companiy's commercial interests in Poland
• develop and provide recommendations to senior management and relevant business units concerning political, policy and regulatory issues
• identify and map key policy stakeholders (including political office holders, government officials, regulators, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and industry associations)
• develop and drive engagement strategies to reach out and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen network of partners
• formulate and execute advocacy plans to translate policy engagements into tangible commercial outcomes to secure market access and expansion efforts and to ensure the successful running of business operations in Poland
• develop and drive strategic communications plans in support of company’s overall policy positioning and profiling
• organize and manage meetings with external parties, including the preparation of briefing notes/presentations for senior management’s reference
• lead in the planning, organization and management of networking platforms
