For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Java Solution Architect

Location: 100% remote or hybrid in Warsaw (Rondo Daszyńskiego) – depending on candidate’s preferencesJob type: B2B (with Hays Poland)Length: long-term cooperation, with first contract signed for 12 monthsRate: 190-230 PLN/h netStart date: ASAP (June 2024)Remote work: 100% remoteWorking hours: between 8:00 and 17:00 (8 hours per day)Team: multinational environment, Agile; the team will be composed by 1 Architect, 4-5 Developers and 2 Testers, all of them are on Senior level

What will you do:

  • Design technical services and plan system integration, selecting the necessary platforms and technologies to meet the customer functional and non-functional requirements and final user needs
  • Provide technical leadership and consultancy to the internal development team, ensuring the system infrastructure is fit for purpose, whilst meeting time and budget constraints
  • Build and maintain the system technical roadmap, looking ahead for future opportunities or blockers and ensuring decisions by the development team align with the Organization’s strategy
  • Advise product managers on the estimated effort and technical implications of the current user stories, as well as those in the backlog

What we expect from you:

  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Software Development, including min. 4 years as Solution Architect
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering (computer or telecommunication)
  • Personal Security Clearance at EU-CONFIDENTIAL level or above
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in software development in Object-Oriented programming, specifically on JAVA EE technologies (EJB, JPA, Webservices, WebSockets, RESTful interfaces, etc.).
  • Java EE 6 Enterprise Architect Certification or equivalent
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering at least 4 complex enterprise-scale Java/JEE solutions
  • Proficient in UML design with Enterprise Architect
  • Hands-on experience in working with Maven, Git, JUnit, Jenkins, and IntelliJ IDEA
  • Advanced knowledge of JBoss 7 EAP Application Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Apache Web server, PostgreSQL databases and Jackrabbit
  • Experience working with microservices (preferable OpenShift), Docker and Kubernetes, and with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps
  • Experience working in Scrum/Agile and in leading a technical team for agile project delivery, including Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration
  • Knowledge of English on B2/C1 level


Nice to have:

  • Experience in NoSQL databases like e.g. MongoDB.
  • Experience with HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, or Angular.
  • Experience in Azure Cloud
